Bangladesh Tour of Sri Lanka 2025 - Teams, Player Squads, Fixtures, Schedule and All you need to know

Bangladesh are touring Sri Lanka to participate in a 2 Match Test Series, 3 Match ODI Series and a 3 Match T20I Series, beginning on the 17th June.

Test Series will be played before the ODI Series and the tour will conclude with T20I Series. The Final T20I Match of the Tour will take place on the 16th of July, 2025.

The First Test will be played at the Galle International Stadium while the Second Test is scheduled to take place at the Sinhalese Sports Club, Colombo. The first 2 ODI's will be played at the Premadasa Stadium, Colombo and the 3rd ODI will take place at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, Kandy. The first T20I will be played at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, Kandy while the 2nd and 3rd T20I's will be played at Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium and R. Premadasa Stadium respectively.

The Test Series that is beginning on the 16th of July marks the beginning of a new cycle of World Test Championship (WTC) 2025-27.

For the Tests, Bangladesh are led by Najmul Hossain Shanto while Sri Lanka are captained by Dhananjaya de Silva.

Both the teams have included their best squads for the upcoming Test Matches. Sri Lanka have talented players like Pathum Nissanka, Prabath Jayasuriya and Angelo Matthews while Bangladesh have highly skilled individuals like Jaker Ali, Nahid Rana and Anamul Haque Bijoy.

Sri Lanka will certainly start as favorites for the Test Series but Bangladesh can also spring a surprise or two against the hosts.
