Middlesex vs Kent Spitfires - 5th June

Here are the Fantasy Cricket Predictions and Betting Tips for the Vitality Blast 2025, South Group, 20th match - Middlesex vs Kent Spitfires, to be played on the 5th of June, 2025 at Lord’s, London.

Match Details:

Date: Thursday, 5th June 2025.

Venue: Lord’s, London.

Start Time: 6:15 PM BST

Current Form:

Middlesex:

They have started with two losses to the Lightning and Glamorgan, the latter being a comprehensive loss for the London county, as their batting looked completely out of sorts.

Kent Spitfires:

Kent won a tight game against Gloucestershire to start off their season, courtesy of great knocks by two stalwarts in Daniel Bell-Drummond and Joe Denly. The Australian import in Tom Rogers was critical too, taking 2-22 in his four overs.

Players to Watch:

Middlesex:

Kane Williamson – the former New Zealand skipper will come into the next game with a point to prove, having started off his first two games with underwhelming performances.

Tom Helm – amongst the best bowlers for Middlesex in the Vitality Blast, Tom Helm can bowl a hard length and crank it up! An exciting player to watch!

Ryan Higgins – the only player from Middlesex who comes with their reputation enhanced after the first two games, he is striking at 232 this season and has been dangerous with the bat.

Kent Spitfires:

Joe Denly – the 39-year old still loves playing cricket, and in his first Blast game of the season, Denly smoked an unbeaten 48 off 24 balls, highlighting the value of experience.

Tom Rogers – he had a great BBL season with the Melbourne Renegades, and has picked up from there, taking 2-22 for Kent in his last game, twice the number of wickets he took for the Spitfires last season.

Daniel Bell-Drummond – he’s scored over a 1000 runs in his last 25 Vitality Blast games, having shown up for Kent through the last few seasons and remains a critical batter for them.
