Asked to bat, Delhi managed just 133 for seven, while second innings wasn't possible due to rain.

Delhi had a forgettable start to their innings as Karun Nair got out on the first ball and it opened the floodgates. Hyderabad bowlers, in particular Pat Cummins, were all over the opposition as he picked three wickets in a powerplay that left Delhi tottering at 29 for five. Soon after that, Vipraj Nigam (18:17b, 1x4, 1x6) got out as well and Delhi lost their sixth wicket for 62 runs. However, after that, Tristan Stubbs (41 not out:36b, 4x4) and Ashutosh Sharma (41:46b, 2x4, 3x6) brought their team back into the game with their 66-run stand. They soaked in all the pressure and their partnership powered Delhi to 133 for seven. For Hyderabad, Pat Cummins bagged three wickets.

The chase was interrupted by rain as not even a single ball was possible. The game got washed out, and Hyderabad was eliminated from the tournament.
