Match Analysis
Asked to bat, Delhi posted a total of 199 for three, which Gujarat chased with six balls and 10 wickets to spare.
Delhi didn't have a great outing with the bat as they lost Faf du Plessis for just five runs. However, after that KL Rahul (112 not out: 65b, 14x4, 4x6) and Abishek Porel (30:19b, 1x4, 3x6) brought their team back in the game with their 90-run stand for the second wicket.
Rahul carried his bat through and slammed a magnificent century. Skipper Axar Patel (25:16b, 2x4, 1x6) and Tristan Stubbs (21 not out:10b, 2x6) supported Rahul as Delhi posted a total of 199 for three.
Chasing the target, the duo of Sai Sudharsan (108: not out:61b, 12x4, 4x6) and skipper Shubman Gill (93 not out:53b, 3x4, 7x6) made a mockery of the Delhi Capitals bowlers.
While Sudharsan slammed his second ton in the league, Gill supported him well as Gujarat chased the target with ten wickets.
